Notes from October's Pack Committee and Den Leader's Meetings

The following items were discussed during the October Pack Committee and Den Leader's meetings:
The Pack 170 sponsored Community-wide Garage Sale will be held at Stockwell Place Elementary on November 5th. The registration form will be posted on our website. Dens will not be required to purchase a table but will need to decide what they are planning on selling at this event. Funds earned by the Den's will be used towards the "Christmas Wishes" project.
The Pack campout scheduled for November 11 - 13 has been rescheduled to December 9 - 11. Look for registration forms soon. There is a possiblity that the campout will be relocated from Bayou Bodcau to Clear Lake Park on Barksdale Air Force Base.
All popcorn forms need to be turned in to your Den Leader prior to Tuesday, October 25th in order for the Den Leaders to bring them to Brad at Stockwell Place's Pumpkin Light Night. If you need additional popcorn forms, contact Steve Piraino.
Webelos scouts need to be at Stockwell Place by 4:45 in order to light pumpkins for the Pumpkin Light Night (bring a lighter). Bear Den's 3 and 9 are responsible for clean-up after the event. Bring trashbags and gloves.
All awards requests need to be made to the Advancement Chair no later than 10 days prior to the Den Leader's meeting. If it is a rank request, it needs to be made 10 days prior to the Pack meeting.
