See some of the pictures of when Pack 376 was at the USS Yorktown

On Friday afternoon, the Pack headed down to Charleston in the church vans for a weekend on board the USS Yorktown. After we got on board and were shown to our quarters - we paid attention and participated in the fire drill. It seemed like right after taps - we were awoken by reveille and we were ready to start our day. We gathered for breakfast and then got on a boat for Fort Sumter. It was a really old place and fragile from all the bombings that had occurred over the years and we were told that we had to be careful not to touch anything. We explored as much as we could and then headed back to the Yorktown. Everyone split up with their Dads and small groups to look around the ship. We saw lots of planes and had a chance to speak to some of the men who served in WWII. It was a great day. After dinner, most of us watched the Fighting Lady (some slept through the movie for an early start to their bedtime!!).
